BREAKING: Oluwole Oke Resigns from PDP in Osun

Oluwole Oke, who was the chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts, has left the PDP.
The congressman, who serves in the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency of Osun State, issued a letter to the PDP Chairman in Wurd 7, the state’s Obokun Local Government Area, announcing his resignation.
The six-term lawmaker Oke declared on Wednesday that he was leaving the PDP.

“I would like to formally inform you that I am leaving the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, with immediate effect,” the senator stated.
After consulting and engaging with friends, family, and political allies, he stated, the choice was made.
“I hope you will accept my resignation in good faith,” he continued in the letter.
The Peoples Democratic Party’s National, State, and Local Government Chairmen were likewise imitated by Oke.
