JAMB to Announce 2025 Cut-Off Marks, Admission Guidelines on Tuesday

The official cut-off scores for admission to universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and monotechnics nationwide will be announced by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
The Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja will host JAMB’s annual policy meeting, where the decision will be made.
According to reports, JAMB posted a confirmation of the date on its official 𝕏 handle on Wednesday.

The statement states that the 2025 Policy Meeting will take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja on July 8, 2025.

Stakeholders get together for the policy meeting to review and approve policy guidelines and other pertinent admissions requirements for the upcoming academic year, according to the statement.
The examination body stated, “Please be aware that attendance is strictly by invitation; however, you can follow us on our social media handles for live coverage.”

Top representatives from Nigeria’s education sector, such as vice-chancellors, rectors, provosts, and regulatory authorities, are anticipated to attend the policy meeting.

The minimum Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) scores needed for admission to various tertiary institution categories will be decided during the conference.

According to JAMB, the forum will also offer a chance to finalize admission schedules, such as application, screening, and registration deadlines for the 2025–2026 school year.

Top-performing applicants in the 2025 UTME will also be formally declared and honored during the ceremony, according to JAMB.

The policy meeting, which sets the standard for admissions procedures at all higher education institutions, is considered a crucial part of Nigeria’s admission cycle.
