Kaduna People Will Decide at Right Time – El-Rufai Criticizes Gov Uba Sani

Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has chastised his successor, Governor Uba Sani, for supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
According to reports, Governor Sani attacked politicians who were attempting to band together to remove Tinubu from office in the 2027 presidential election in an interview on TVC on Monday.
According to Governor Sani, the majority of the lawmakers who have stated that they are joining a coalition are those who were in power less than two years ago. What were their actions throughout their time in government? They weren’t battling because they were better; they were just competing for power.President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demonstrated a greater commitment to democracy than any other Nigerian president in history.

El-Rufai responded on Tuesday by calling the Governor’s statement pathetic and embarrassing in a post on X.

Because of the recent federal government reimbursement of billions to the state, he accused Sani of standing up for Tinubu.

“I used to wonder why every day I see this governor rambling in an embarrassing and sycophantic way,” El-Rufai wrote. But it now clarifies everything when it is confirmed that Tinubu has granted Kaduna more than N150 billion in Federal Government “reimbursements, interventions, and grants” during the past 18 months.
