The impact of President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms on the average person’s lifestyle has not yet improved, according to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia North, but this is anticipated to alter over the course of the next two to three years.
At the macro level, he said that President Tinubu is steering the nation in the correct path and that the improvements are already evident.

Although he admitted that the current administration’s reforms are causing hardship for Nigerians, he also said that in the coming years, the populace would value the work the President is doing.

Kalu reportedly said those things on Tuesday when he was interacting with reporters at the National Assembly building.
Senator Kalu claimed that although Nigerians are accustomed to earning money quickly without having to put in any effort, President Tinubu has urged that the proper actions be taken since taking office.

“I’ll be honest with you,” he said. Not a politician, but a businessman. A small number of items are not occurring. In the future, the indicators of Mr. President’s policies may not be functioning as intended. Yes, I do agree that people are still in pain. However, it has begun to seep in at the macro level, or higher level rather than lesser level. I thus hope that the President’s ideas will become more widely accepted and that Nigerians will value his efforts over the course of the next two to three years.

“This is the first President to halt the fuel subsidy since 1960, and I have the facts.” This president was the first to combine the dollar rates. Because Nigerians are not accustomed to working hard, that is the reason we are suffering. Easy money is what we’re used to. People used to sit in their homes, utilize their phones, sell for extremely high prices, and get dollars.

“People work from home, collect papers, use their tank farms, and earn money.” This president has stated that if you are prepared to earn money, do it properly. Leave it if you aren’t prepared.

Having Tinubu serve a second term is in Nigeria’s best interests.
It is “in the interest of everyone, both in the North and the South, for Tinubu to return,” the former governor of Abia State remarked in response to President Tinubu’s recent endorsement for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket.

He stated that at most Tinubu would step down by 2031 and that no one wants Nigeria to collapse.

“We do not wish for this nation to collapse. It should stay in our nation. I’m a huge fan of Nigeria. Being a Nigerian, I’m quite proud to have come from this nation. Most people don’t feel proud. People from other countries are disparaging Nigeria and using profanity, which is not good. It is wrong to curse your nation or your president, regardless of whether you belong to the ruling or opposition parties. Nigeria is not Tinubu’s property. Could he be the owner? Do you reporters think Tinubu is the owner? No. This country belongs to us. He has a maximum stay of eight years. And then we reclaim our nation. Do you think Buhari is in Daura now? Tinubu is therefore scheduled to return to Lagos in 2031. He intends to return.

To visit him, you’ll need to travel to Lagos. But above all, Nigerians should pray for the president to live a long and healthy life to finish his term in office, Kalu continued.
