Liverpool Confirm Departure of Seven Players [Full List]

As the club begins a summer of major change, Liverpool has confirmed the departure of seven Academy players whose contracts expire at the end of the 2024–25 season.
Dominic Corness, a 22-year-old midfielder who played the second half of the season on loan at Gillingham in League Two, is among the players leaving.
Corness has previously played for Yverdon-Sport in the Swiss Super League.
Goalkeepers Jacob Poytress (21), Reece Trueman (20), and Jakub Ojrzynski (22), who have primarily been training goalkeepers for the first team and the Under-21s, are also departing.
The versatile 20-year-old defender Lee Jonas leaves the team after a period of injury, while two unexpected departures from the U18 lineup are left-back Harry Evers and center-back Louis Enahoro-Marcus, both of whom are only 18 years old.

The departures coincide with a larger reorganization at Liverpool, as right-back Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen has joined as a new player and veteran players Trent Alexander-Arnold and Caoimhin Kelleher have been sold.
Additionally, it is said that the Reds are moving forward with negotiations to sign Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez and
Florian Wirtz, a playmaker for Bayer Leverkusen.
Unlike the departures, Liverpool has extended formal contract offers to eight young, talented players from the Academy. These include strikers Keyrol Figueroa, Ranel Young, and Kareem Ahmed; midfielders Michael Laffey and Kyle Kelly; and defenders Wellity Lucky, Terence Miles, and Emmanuel Airoboma.
The Academy is scheduled to undergo a summer reorganization as more changes are anticipated at Kirkby. Lewis Nightingale, the manager of the U16s, is one of the contenders to succeed U18s coach Marc Bridge-Wilkinson, who resigned from his position.
The number of departures this year is comparable to that of last summer, when 11 players left after their contracts expired. Joel Matip, Thiago Alcântara, and Adrian were among the senior trio; Adrian returned to Real Betis, while Matip and Thiago retired.
A number of the Academy’s 2024 alumni have since joined other clubs. Adam Lewis to Morecambe, Melkamu Frauendorf to Hannover, and Mateusz Musialowski to Omonia are notable transfers.
