‘Make the Order Now, This Madness Must Stop’ – Cubana Chiefpriest Urges Tinubu

Following the devastating tragedy in Benue State, prominent Nigerian socialite and nightlife entrepreneur Okechukwu Pascal, also known as Chief Priest, has joined the growing chorus of people calling on President Bola Tinubu to put an end to public grazing.
According to reports, the well-known bartender urged Tinubu to act quickly by banning open grazing nationwide in an Instagram post.
He emphasized the value of ranching as a safer and more sustainable option.
The chief priest added that self-defense is not a crime and asked the Benue people to put their safety first.
“My President, issue that order immediately!” he wrote. Put an end to public grazing. The extent of the devastation is ruthless. We must put an end to this craziness. On your ranches, feed your animals. Sharpen your weapon, Benue people. ♔️️ I don’t want anyone to kpai you. To defend oneself is not a crime!

In the meantime, Tinubu has promised that if land-grabbing is discovered to be the cause of the frequent attacks in Benue State, especially the most recent tragedy in Yelwata, the Federal Government will address the matter directly.
Tinubu stated that Nigeria must cease the violence that has killed hundreds of people and uprooted entire communities during a town hall meeting with stakeholders on Wednesday in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State.
“We were not elected to bury people and have orphans and orphanages,” the president reportedly said. We’ll cooperate with you to bring about peace.
The President ordered a comprehensive approach to resolve the growing tension over land issues.
