I made money before E-Money – Kcee Reveals

Nigerian artist Kingsley Okonkwo, well known as Kcee, has revealed his relationship with his younger brother, wealthy businessman Emeka Okonkwo, or E-Money.
He explained that he had financial success prior to E-Money, emphasizing that the business mogul was once his manager.
He said that the businessman had more money than him and has invested in his career.
Kcee stated on a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, “E-Money used to be my manager. When I blew up as KC-Prech, he was our manager. I earned money before him. I was one of those who financed his wedding. Then he started making money, and more money.
“If I had put the years I’ve spent in music into a business, I would be ten times richer than I am now. E-Money has enterprises that routinely generate revenue. Artists often lead extravagant lifestyles… Sometimes a hit comes and sometimes it doesn’t.

“Having said that, I’ve had a long history with e-money. My mother informed me that after he was born, I clutched his hand and cried tears of delight. I stayed with baby E-Money in the hospital for three days. Growing up, it was always just me and him.
“The bond became so enormous and intense that I began chanting ‘E-Money’ in my songs. I named him E-Money. I used to be K-Money, followed by P-Money (previously known as Prech), and finally E-Money. Then he was our manager, and he was not affluent. We called the money into existence. And when the money arrived, he remained known as E-Money. On my songs, I was shouting ‘E-Money’; most people thought I was the E-Money until he started gaining visibility.”
The musician stated that some individuals approached him and asked him to cease promoting his brother E-Money in his songs, worrying that E-Money might become more popular than him. But he refused to be jealous.
