Nigeria in Its Worst State Ever – Buhari’s Ex-Minister Criticizes Tinubu’s Government

Former Youth and Sports Minister Solomon Dalung, who served under former President Muhammadu Buhari, has given the Bola Tinubu administration a dismal performance rating.
While assessing the state of affairs in the nation, Dalung bemoaned the fact that Nigeria has never experienced such a dire position.
Citing the government’s poor performance in its first two years in power, he held President Tinubu’s administration accountable for the economic problems that many residents have experienced as a result of government policies.
In an interview with Vanguard, the former minister reportedly claimed that the president had done a lousy job and that the impoverished Nigerians will punish him in the upcoming election.

He claims that President Tinubu has not performed up to par.
Since good governance improves people’s well-being and is measured by openness, accountability, and justice, I believe that the nation’s level of good governance has never been worse than it is now, at least not in the last two years.
Today, there is no trace of these three paradigms from the previous two years. So, the government has done a lousy job if I’m going to give them a good governance score. They had a score of less than 10%,” Dalung stated.
