No Deal in Sight: Juventus Director Refutes Osimhen Transfer Rumours

Claims that the Italian powerhouses are close to signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen have been refuted by Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli.
Clubs looking to increase their offensive options are speculating about Victor Osimhen’s possible departure because he currently has a substantial €75 million exit clause and is on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli.
The 26-year-old Nigerian forward has frequently been connected to a Juventus transfer, particularly in light of Giuntoli’s previous role in Osimhen’s career.

The player’s move from French side Lille to Serie A was made possible in large part by Giuntoli, who was Napoli’s sports director.

Giuntoli made it clear in an interview with Derin Football that he had no interest in Osimhen, despite this previous link. The rumors you read in the Italian press are merely intended to exert pressure on us. Juventus is not interested in the player.
Despite having a Romanian mother and a Nigerian father, Karim Adeyemi, a winger for Borussia Dortmund, has explained why he prefers to play for Germany than Nigeria.

The Munich, Germany-born forward, 23, had the exceptional chance to select from three national teams: Germany, Romania, and Nigeria.

Adeyemi said, “It’s a difficult question,” in reference to his choice of Germany over Nigeria. I frequently had to answer this to my father.

He clarified that a significant factor in his decision was his involvement with the German Football Association and the favorable emotions he felt from those exchanges.

“I felt happy about that place. Finally, I had to play for Germany. That’s how simple it is,” he stated.

In six games since joining the German national team, Adeyemi has scored one goal.
