‘No Turning Back’ Singer Gaise Baba Opens Up About Porn Addiction Struggle

Popular Nigerian gospel musician Akinade Ibuoye, better known by his stage as Gaise Baba, has shared details of his journey through addiction, purity, and musical breakthrough.
According to reports, the singer acknowledged that he had difficulties in keeping his sexual purity, even though he claimed to have married as a virgin.
Even though he made a personal pledge to purity, Gaise Baba admitted in an interview with Chude that he began seeing pornography at the age of 15 and eventually developed an addiction.
I did get married as a virgin, yes. My spouse and I. It took us longer to discover the path, sir. When I first started watching horrible things, I was fifteen. There is a concept known as the covenant of purity. You enter into a relationship with the intention of getting married and not having sex. I just write something down. Go see the pastor; I’ll sign it. I think of my purity covenant.
Actually, I became addicted to porn soon after that. I knew that any man could fall if the proper conditions were met.
