Peter Obi’s Voice Too Annoying for Me to Accept His Presidency – Wani Claims

The 2023 Labour Party presidential contender Peter Obi’s voice has drawn criticism from fast-rising Nigerian artist Wani, who called it “annoying.”

The artist claimed that he couldn’t have “tolerated” his voice for eight years and openly expressed joy that Peter Obi didn’t win the 2023 presidential race.

Wani wrote, “I don’t think I could have tolerated P*ter *bi’s voice for 8 years man!” under his X handle.
“But on paper, he’s right on point.”

Despite criticism for his post, the musician maintained that he had the right to voice his thoughts regardless of the consequences.

“The worst mistake to make as an artist is to air out political views,” cautioned @Hillz_Hilary.

In response, Wani said, “What political opinion? I simply dislike the ngga’s speech pattern, is that a crime?

According to one @SarahIkhami, “The way some of you think.” How is his voice related to anything?

“I think it [Peter Obi’s voice] is annoying,” Wani retorted. You have to ask these idiots how it turned into a political argument.

The singer was threatened with cancellation by the previous LP candidate’s supporters.

“You’re canceled,” wrote @Delachimes. You won’t have any streams, tours, or a music career. Not under my rule.

“@WaniWndr, you’re a soft-hearted idiot,” @MouthNeverest wrote. You should keep creating toilet seat music for your friends’ and family’s fleeting entertainment.

Even with all of your privilege and connections in Lagos, you haven’t blown since 2016. You came to the studio to smoke loudly on Oniru’s Palace Road.
