Labour Party: Tinubu’s Government Incapable of Solving Nigeria’s Challenges

According to the Labour Party (LP), the administration of President Bola Tinubu is incapable of handling Nigeria’s issues.
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Labour Party was reportedly tasked with addressing the party’s internal issues, according to Abayomi Arabami, the party’s national publicity secretary.

In a Tuesday interview with News Central, Arabami praised Peter Obi, the party’s previous presidential candidate, for his refusal to join any political party in an attempt to gain power.

“I thank God that our reconciliation process is gaining momentum and momentum because the National Working Committee is actually making a very good move with the two party leaders, namely, Governor Alex Otti and Mr. Peter Obi, because we have all been able to realize that the current administration is incapable of advancing Nigeria.

It is therefore time for us to put the square peg in the square hole, and we will all come to your round table to give and take and disappear. Going to a peace conference will bring both benefits and drawbacks. And for that reason, our presidential candidate excluded the majority of these power-hungry individuals who have harmed our economy, even though they have held public office in the past. Be it the APC or the PDP, their administration lacks direction when they are in power.

Knowing this, he had to issue a policy statement. Thus, he continued, “all those who believe, oh, we are inviting, let us all grab power without any focus.”

In support of executives led by Julius Abure, the former Labour Party candidate for governor claimed that his earlier remarks disparaging Obi and Abia State Governor Alex Otti were driven by political disagreements and shouldn’t be taken into account during the reconciliation process.

“I mentioned a process of reconciliation. Senator Akpabio, Daniel Bwala, and the former governor of River State are among the thirty Nigerians I’m going to name that you won’t ever think could be a part of the Bola Tinubu administration.

“Those who have dubbed APC cancer are these individuals. However, you and I were present at the previous presidential media conference when the president saluted the former Riverside governor. You see, it’s about bringing people together in a political party. It’s true that you will have reservations. You will disagree with each other. But Nigeria must be able to take precedence over our own grievances,” he said.

He said that legal cases involving Aburi and the executives led by Nenadi Usman would not be withdrawn in order to facilitate reconciliation.

“No, we are stating that we are undergoing a reconciliation process. By announcing to anyone approaching him that he will not participate in any kind of power grab, Mr. Peter Obi has now been able to prove that. He said, “Those who seek to seize power without revealing their intentions, as we have witnessed in the current administration.”
