Rapper Odumodublvck revealed that Afrobeats artist Davido recently gave his girlfriend ₦10 million.
In a recent interview with Beat 99.9 FM, Odumodublvck thanked Davido.
“Congratulations to Davido, my brother,” he remarked. He gave my girlfriend N10M two days ago as a token of appreciation for being a true gee.
“I think she’s a key part of my success, and I have to give her credit,” he said, attributing his success in large part to his girlfriend’s encouragement.
Odumodublvck made this gesture following his victory at the 17th Headies Awards, where he won Best Rap Single and Next Rated.
Because they worked together on the 2024 song “Funds,” which featured Chike, the rapper and Davido have a business relationship.
According to reports, Davido was optimistic about Odumodublvck’s chances of winning the Headies Awards.
Odumodublvck, meanwhile, has asserted that he was talking about Jesus Christ when his acceptance speech at the 17th Headies was unexpectedly cut short.

Speaking through his X account, he said that his reference to Jesus Christ was the reason for the cut-off, implying that the interruption might not have happened if he had instead mentioned Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Odumodublvck stated that he has no animosity toward the Headies Award organizers in spite of the occurrence.
He was thankful that his microphone was eventually switched back on so he could finish and deliver his message.
Declaring that “Jesus is king,” he restated his support for Jesus Christ. He is here now and always will be.
“They tried to stop me from talking about Jesus,” Odumodublvck stated. I have no doubt that I wouldn’t have been interrupted if I had been discussing His Excellency Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. I truly have no animosity toward the Headies; instead, I am appreciative that they gave me a microphone again so I could share the gospel.
