Persistent Bullying Forces Lawyer to Exit May Edochie’s Divorce Battle

The legal firm that has been representing May Edochie in her continuing divorce struggle with Yul Edochie, DPA Family Clinic, has declared that it is no longer involved in the case.
In 2023, May requested N100 million in damages and filed for divorce from Yul Edochie.
In April 2022, the actor revealed Judy Austin as his second wife.
Due to the “hostility” of certain members of the “May Nation” group, the law firm just announced on Facebook that its services to May have “come to an end.”
DPA emphasized that a top priority now was the security and welfare of its employees.
DPA employees had experienced “persistent bullying and trolling,” the statement said, from May’s fans as well as from Yul and Judy’s supporters.
“It is no longer feasible for us to continue effective representation due to the hostile environment that some members of the “May Nation” group have created,” the statement said.
It is morally impossible to take action against the bullies of Queen May when her own fans show just as much, if not more, animosity. We were forced to pull out as a result.
For DPA and our employees, the ongoing harassment and trolling coming from Queen May’s alleged followers poses a serious practical and moral dilemma.

I therefore feel compelled to stop sending our hardworking employees—young men and women—into these cases. They had already experienced similar attacks from Yul’s fans, and now they are subjected to constant insults from May’s supporters.
“The level of investment needed for our representation is irreconcilable with Queen May’s incapacity to significantly impact this increasingly poisonous segment of her fans. I have a fundamental responsibility to safeguard the welfare of our employees since they are people.
Although DPA denounced Yul’s behavior in the marriage, it insisted that May was a “victim of marital abuse and betrayal” and pledged to work with her new attorneys.
The law company also declared that it would file a lawsuit against “Judy Obasiyul Autism,” who is accused of being the mastermind behind the attacks on its employees.
“To be clear, Yul is solely responsible for the series of events that culminate in the confrontation between Queen May and Yul, with Judy playing a crucial role. DPA stated that Queen May should be protected by society and given justice.
“DPA denounces Yul and Judy’s behavior that caused the dispute. DPA is against forced polygamy because we believe that men and women should have equal rights.
“DPA and Queen May’s team will collaborate to transfer our work to any successor representatives that she appoints. Importantly, we are still responsible for safeguarding our client’s best interests both during and after withdrawal.
“We wish for Queen May’s triumph. She is an amazing person. In the event that her new representatives have inquiries about our earlier work, we are still accessible to her and prepared to deal with them.
Regardless matter who they are, DPA will take legal action against the purported leader of “May Nation,” who goes by the alias “Judy Obasiyul Autism,” going forward.
