Presidency Breaks Silence on New Honour List Including Aisha Yesufu

The publication has been rejected by the Presidency, which asserts that Aisha Yesufu, a fervent supporter of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) 2023 presidential candidate, received a national honor from President Bola Tinubu.
In a post via X on Friday, Temitope Ajaiyi, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, reportedly called the article on the alleged honor “fake news.”
According to Tinubu’s aide, the Presidency has not released any new honor rolls that differ from those that were announced during President Tinubu’s speech to the National Assembly’s joint session on Thursday.

He wrote, “The Leadership newspaper’s story about a viral list of national honors that includes Aisha Yesufu’s and other people’s names is fake news.” Ignore it. The honors list that President Tinubu presented to the National Assembly’s joint session yesterday is the only one that the presidency has released.
In other events, Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, the Chairman of Tantita Security Services, stated his support for President Bola Tinubu on Friday, claiming that he is the only visionary leader who can revive the country’s faltering economy.

The former Niger Delta warlord further assured Nigerians that the once pervasive sabotage of national infrastructure has now been much reduced, claiming that a major victory has been gained in the fight against oil theft and pipeline vandalism in the resource-rich region.

According to reports, Tompolo, through Edgar Biu, the Technical Adviser to the Presidential Amnesty Program, said at a press briefing hosted by the PBAT Door-2-Door Movement in Abuja to celebrate Democracy Day that the President has shown through his reforms that he has the will and vision to see his projects through to completion.
