RCCG Empowers Young People with Startup Tools at Annual Convention

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Youth Convention, Region 46, Abuja, has given young adults and youth sewing machines, hair dryers, clippers, and other tools in an effort to provide them with the skills necessary to generate revenue and become self-sufficient.
Additionally, the church stated that the goal of this program was to link the recipients’ financial empowerment with skill development.
At the RCCG Living Spring Youth Convention in Abuja, Ola Adejubee, Pastor-In-Charge of Region 46, RCCG, Abuja, spoke and gave the beneficiaries their equipment. He urged the Christian community in the country to start empowering young people for a better country.
The pastor also exhorted clergymen across to draw young people’s focus back to learning skills for the country’s development, while encouraging the youth to keep sharing God’s word for historic success.
“Pray and focus on something, and see God’s manifestation in everything you do,” he continued.
Pastor Kayode Emosu, the host and Regional Youth Pastor for RCCG Region 46, also spoke at the event and stated that raising the living standards of Nigerian youths was the main goal of empowerment.
He stated that there would be a significant decrease in crime and criminal activity not only in Abuja but throughout the entire nation as a result of youth empowerment.
To ensure a decrease in crime and criminal activity in Nigeria, he urged all levels of government to invest in people, particularly the youth.

The objective is to provide incentives for everyone,” he stated. Thus, we believed we could get everyone on the same page.
The youngsters were also exhorted to focus on their abilities and refrain from wearing offensive clothing by Pastor Mrs. Victoria Emosu, the wife of Regional youngsters Pastor Region 46.
Pastor Segun Ademola expressed his happiness with the program for youth empowerment.
The beneficiaries were also urged by Ademola to utilize the equipment they were given wisely in order to improve both their own and society’s standing.
Additionally, Mr. Chris Mayomi, one of the beneficiaries, gave the organizers praise for the idea.
He was handed sewing machine equipment, Mayomi explained, which he claimed would help him grow his company and elevate his standing as a fashion designer.
Rebecca Williams also praised the organizers for their leadership.
“I pray that the organizers will continue to see God’s favor, as God has been using the church to empower the youth,” she stated.
