Real Madrid’s final home match against Real Sociedad on Saturday will feature a special tribute to Ancelotti at the Santiago Bernabéu in recognition of his services.

Ancelotti’s connection with the team might endure off the field even after he leaves the dugout. The 65-year-old, who intends to reside in Madrid on a part-time basis, may be invited to return in the future in an executive or ambassadorial capacity.

With Xabi Alonso back at the top, Real Madrid quickly lined up a replacement. Xabi Alonso, a cherished former player at Bayer Leverkusen, will take over as manager.

Alonso will be formally introduced to the media at the Santiago Bernabéu on Monday, and it is anticipated that he will sign a three-year contract.

As he starts his second chapter at the club where he previously excelled as a midfield commander, four new employees will join him.
