Rhodes-Vivour Criticizes Tinubu Over 30km Commissioning of Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party’s (LP) 2023 candidate for governor of Lagos State, has criticized President Bola Tinubu for what he called the hurried inauguration of the coastline road, which is only 5% complete.
According to reports, the 700-kilometer Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road project is anticipated to connect Lagos Island with Calabar in Cross River State.
Rhodes-Vivour claimed in a statement posted on his X handle on Thursday that it was impossible to commission a project that was less than 5% and still feel proud of it for having accomplished something noteworthy.
“Rolling out the drums to commission less than 5% of a project is not only dishonorable, but they also had to spread propaganda and lie about the so-called 30km.”
