Ruben Amorim Worried Ahead of Europa Clash – Man United Boss Speaks

As Manchester United gets ready for the Europa League final, manager Ruben Amorim has expressed his worries about possible injuries in his team.
The 40-year-old Ruben Amorim is committed to keeping his players fit and stressed the significance of defeating Tottenham in the May 21 final in Bilbao.
Both teams put on impressive performances to advance to the final; Manchester United overcame a deficit to win 4-1, while Tottenham secured their place with a 2-0 victory over Bodo/Glimt in Norway.

Both Premier League teams are now trying to improve their seasons by winning trophies and qualifying for the Champions League.

“My primary goal is to make sure we don’t sustain any injuries before the final,” Amorim said. For us, winning the final is essential; else, our progress thus far is meaningless.
He emphasized the necessity of playing with a full squad against Tottenham and the significance of remaining competitive, having luck, and continuing to finish clinically.

Recognizing the importance of the final for both teams, he addressed the challenge ahead by pointing out the similarities between his own and Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou’s troubles.

It’s a difficult moment for us both, and it’s obvious that one of us will prevail,” he remarked. Our aim is to win, and we are getting ready for an amazing final.

In a similar statement, Amorim also praised Mason Mount and Kobbie Mainoo for their outstanding performances in the UEFA Europa League semi-final at Old Trafford, when they defeated Athletic Bilbao 4-1.

Rasmus Hojlund and Casemiro both supplied crucial goals, but Mount made a significant contribution with two goals.

Following the game, Amorim expressed his gratitude to Mount and Mainoo for their efforts, as both players made noteworthy contributions after entering the game as substitutes.

“I truly feel happy for Mason Mount. He constantly exhibits a great devotion to the team, and his hard work and dedication are admirable. Additionally, I think Kobbie Mainoo has a lot of promise,” he stated.
