Singer Darey Art Alade, Wife Escape Unharmed as Car Catches Fire on Third Mainland Bridge

After barely escaping a car fire disaster on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State, well-known Nigerian singer Darey Art Alade and his wife, Deola, have thanked God.
According to reports, Deola announced this on Saturday, June 7, 2025, through a post on her Instagram page.
Deola shared footage from the site, revealing that their car caught fire at approximately 4 p.m. on Friday and was totally destroyed by the flames.
“Moments like this remind us how quickly things can change and how unimportant material things become in the face of life itself,” Deola said, highlighting the value of life over material belongings.
She added that they shared their story in order to support those who are experiencing unexpected loss.

“Our car caught fire on the Third Mainland Bridge yesterday at approximately 4 p.m. and burned to the ground,” she stated.
“We are quite thankful that the driver was able to escape safely, even though it was a startling and traumatic experience. What really counts is that no lives were lost.
“We’re sharing this to remind someone that things can be replaced, not to show sympathy,” Deola stated. Lives can’t. For protection, perspective, and the silent strength to continue, we are choosing to continue to be grateful to God.
We hope this serves as a reminder that we are capable of rebuilding if you are dealing with an unexpected loss of any kind. We can start over and muster the will to continue. One step at a time, one breath, one prayer. We express gratitude for everything. I appreciate everyone who came to lend a hand.
