Sowore Slams Tinubu, Calls His Leadership a Failure

Omoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate for the African Action Congress (AAC), has condemned President Bola Tinubu’s two years in government as a failure.
Sowore stated that under President Tinubu, citizens had faced hardship and hunger.
The National Chairman of AAC, in a quick statement on his 𝕏 handle, accused Tinubu of wrecking the economy.

According to a human rights activist, Tinubu increased the exchange rate to ₦1,600, reducing citizens’ purchasing power.

He highlighted the President’s terrible policies, such as the withdrawal of gasoline subsidies for low-income individuals while he subsidizes the elite’s luxury, and insecurity in all sections of the country.
It stated, “Today marks Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second year in office as President.

“A man who spent two years building only 30 kilometers of highway on his signature 700-kilometer Lagos-Calabar highway project is a failure.”

“A man who pushed the other exchange rate from ₦400 to ₦1,600 is a failure!”

“A man who eliminated fuel subsidies for low-income people while continuing to subsidize corrupt government officials and MPs in the pretext of budget padding is a failure!

“A man who met Boko Haram in Borno and Yobe but let them move down south to Kogi is a failure.”
