‘Staying Alive Matters More’ – Nollywood’s Biola Adebayo Confirms End of Marriage
Yoruba Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo has declared the conclusion of her marriage to her husband.
The actor was said to have revealed this in an Instagram post on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
In her birthday wishes for her former spouse, Biola noted that they had been apart since April 2024 and had chosen to engage in mature and peaceful co-parenting of their son.
She expressed regret to those who may feel let down by the divorce, emphasizing her desire for the marriage to succeed but acknowledging that survival was necessary to share the tale.

The movie star mentioned that although she spends her days trying to bring joy to others, she cries at night over a private matter.
She stated: “Happy birthday to my ex-husband and the father of my child. I pray that grace overflows to you, that you discover peace in every aspect of your life, and that God illuminates your path and blesses you beyond your expectations in Jesus’ name.
“Yes, you heard correctly! Since April of last year, my husband and I have been apart, but we have made the decision to co-parent our beloved son in a mature and peaceful manner, as he is everything to us. I sincerely apologize to all those who feel disappointed. I wish it had worked out, but it’s better to be alive to share the story. We would appreciate it if you remembered us in your prayers.
During the day, I try to make others happy, but for the last 14 months, my pillow has soaked up my tears almost every night. However, I have drawn strength from Christ, who loves me forever and sacrificed himself for me.
