Copa del Rey Final: Real Madrid Hit with Double Injury Setback Ahead of Barcelona Clash

Due to injuries, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has stated that Eduardo Camavinga and David Alaba will not play in the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona.

During their 1-0 victory over Getafe on Thursday, Alaba was substituted out at halftime.

Camavinga, who was unable to complete the game himself, took his position.

Camavinga will not play again this season after suffering “a complete tear of his left adductor tendon,” according to Madrid’s latest confirmation.

Ancelotti, who faces dismissal before his team’s match against bitter rivals Barcelona this weekend, is facing additional challenges as a result of this recent double injury setback.

He already lacks attacker Kylian Mbappe and defenders Ferland Mendy, Eder Militao, and Dani Carvajal.

He stated, “Camavinga needs to be seen [on Thursday], but it’s difficult for them to be there for Saturday because both he and Alaba have muscle issues.”

Since getting the three points was the goal, I’m not angry. It is true that we need greater efficacy up front and more stability at the back. Yes, the only other option at left back on Saturday is Fran García.
