There are major security worries after the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) confiscated a sizable amount of illegally obtained weapons and ammunition in Lagos.

Authorities have acknowledged that the capture is significant, even though the precise value and quantity of the intercepted firearms have not yet been made public.
Adewale Adeniyi, the Comptroller-General of Customs, has arrived in Lagos and is scheduled to present the development to reporters at the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone “A” in Ikeja.
