2025 Club World Cup: Full Quarter-Final Fixtures Revealed

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup round of 16 has been concluded, and the quarterfinal schedule has been formally announced.
The Club World Cup’s last round of 16 matches were played across the United States on Saturday night and today morning.

European football powerhouses Real Madrid and Juventus defeated each other by a single goal in the match that was played on Saturday night.

In front of 62,149 fans at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, Real Madrid’s recent acquisition, Trent Alexander-Arnold, helped Gonzalo García in the 54th minute to seal the narrow 1-0 victory.

In contrast, Borussia Dortmund of the German Bundesliga had a very strong first half against Monterrey of Mexico in the match that was played earlier today.

Serhou Guirassay, a 29-year-old Guinean international, opened the scoring in the 14th minute and doubled the advantage in the 24th to give Dortmund the victory in the first half.

But the Mexican team rallied in the second half, scoring a goal through Germán Berterame’s boots in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, the game ended 2-1 in favor of the German team, leaving Dortmund unbeaten.

After the aforementioned matches, on Saturday, July 5, at 9 p.m., Real Madrid will play Borussia Dortmund in the quarterfinals.

On Friday, July 4, at 8 p.m., Al-Hilal, who shocked Premier League powerhouse Manchester City 4-3 on Tuesday, will take on Fluminense, a Brazilian powerhouse, in the quarterfinals.

The current UEFA Champions League winners, Paris Saint-Germain, will play Bayern Munich at 5 p.m. on Saturday, while Chelsea will play Brazilian team Palmeiras at 2:00.

When Real Madrid plays Borussia Dortmund, Jude Bellingham will not get the chance to play against his younger brother, Jobe Bellingham.

This is because during Dortmund’s 2-1 victory over Monterrey, the 19-year-old English kid received a yellow card. He has been disqualified from the upcoming match because it was his second booking in the 2025 Club World Cup.
