Eedris: Nigerian Senator Offered Me N200M For My Song ‘Tell Your Papa’

A politician contacted Nigerian rapper Eedris Turayo Abdulkareem Ajenifuja, better known by his stage name Eedris Abdulkareem, offering to sponsor his song with ₦200 million.
According to reports, Eedris claimed the politician told him that his single “Tell Your Papa” made President Bola Tinubu and his son Seyi uneasy.
The politician informed him that Tinubu’s government will contact him and pay him to cease criticizing the government, according to a video that Eedris shared on social media.

He claims that he turned down the ₦200 million offer because he thought the politician was trying to extort him.
