2027: Sowore Accuses Tinubu, Coalition Members of Multiple Crimes

The African Action Congress (AAC) has declared that its members are “corrupt and complicit in Nigeria’s ruin,” and Omoyele Sowore, the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, has pledged not to join the coalition of opposition leaders currently building in advance of the 2027 general elections.
According to reports, Sowore expressed his stance in a sharply written Facebook post on Wednesday, dismissing calls for opposition leaders to unite after they chose the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as their political platform.
Human rights attorney Deji Adeyanju had earlier on Wednesday urged Sowore to unite with other opposition figures in the effort to topple President Bola Tinubu’s All Progressives Congress (APC) government.
Quickly rejecting the request, Sowore stated that he could not stand with those who had supposedly betrayed the nation and betrayed the public’s confidence.
The former presidential candidate stated, “I did not join Bola Ahmed Tinubu in distributing cocaine and heroin in Chicago,” in a Facebook post.
