Adamu Garba Declares PDP Finished Ahead of 2027 Elections

Adamu Garba, a former presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has claimed that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost public trust.
According to reports, Garba revealed this during an interview on AIT’s Focus Nigeria programme.
According to the APC chieftain, the PDP is no longer an Iroko tree but rather a cucumber.

According to Garba, the PDP is on the verge of self-destruction, and the party will fail to achieve anything in the 2027 election.

He stated, “The symbolism of a tree can be used to determine if a party or society is expanding. You have roots, you grow and produce fruits, you drop seeds, and they begin to grow again.

“But what we’re seeing now is that they’re returning to the roots after the branches have dried up and the leaves have fallen.

“An Iroko tree has a 100-year lifespan, but PDP is not an Iroko tree; I believe it is a cucumber because it has died.

“To the best of my knowledge, the PDP has lost the public’s trust, thus I do not want to classify them as anything in the upcoming 2027 election.

“The PDP members are to blame for the party’s self-destruction. You can see the conflict between the FCT Minister and the former Vice President who was present, as well as the internal difficulties that arose during their last convention. There is a lot of turmoil within the PDP.

“They really caused their self-destruction and that is why they are now organising themselves in a nostalgic mode to replay the game of 1998, 1999 and see the possibility of if they will ever survive.”
