Femi Lazarus Reacts to Timi Dakolo’s $150 School of Ministry Claim

Femi Lazarus, a well-known priest, has addressed musician Timi Dakolo’s criticism of him for charging $150 for his ministry school.
According to reports, the two got into arguments over whether or not gospel singers should charge for their performances at church functions and festivals.
Pastor Lazarus criticized gospel musicians who expect payment for their ministry in a widely shared video, saying that they should put their faith in God’s providence above their own financial gain.

He maintained that gospel musicians are more than just entertainers; they are gospel ministers.
Dakolo strongly disagreed with Pastor Lazarus’ viewpoint in response, claiming that pastors pressure gospel performers to perform for free even when they have other financial commitments.
In a recent article, Dakolo again accused Lazarus of charging $150 for pupils to attend his ministry school, which offers Christian instruction.
Dakolo brought out the fact that Lazarus charges for his ministry school, which appears to run counter to his position on the payments for gospel singers.
When a netizen named Deeemaths inquired about the cost, he said, “But you charge $150 for your school of ministry? Would you kindly provide further details, sir? I assumed it was a ministry.
Simply put, Lazarus said, “Yes, it is a school.”
His answer suggests that his ministry school’s instruction and training are worthy of payment.
