The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, lost his wife, Ebunoluwa Esther Ojelabi.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, has sent the family his condolences.
Governor Sanwo-Olu sent Pastor Ojelabi his condolences and prayers for consolation during this difficult time in an emotional post posted on his Facebook page on Monday.

According to him, Mrs. Ojelabi was an extraordinary woman who left a lasting impression on everyone she came into contact with with her life full of love, generosity, and compassion.
“I want to express my sincere condolences to Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi on the loss of his beloved wife, Ebunoluwa Esther Ojelabi,” wrote Governor Sanwo-Olu. I’m thinking of you during this trying time. Even though this is a difficult loss, know that Mrs. Ojelabi touched many people with her caring attitude and led a life full of love and care.
In closing, the governor offered prayers for Mrs. Ojelabi’s ultimate rest and reassured the bereaved family of his support during their difficult time.
