“Is Rivers State at War?” – Falz Questions Tinubu Over Fubara’s Suspension

President Bola Tinubu has come under fire from Nigerian rapper and Nollywood actor Folarin Falana, also known as Falz, for suspending Sim Fubara, the governor of Rivers State.
According to reports, Rivers State was placed under a state of emergency by President Tinubu on Tuesday night, citing the need to restore law and order.
Following the announcement, which was broadcast nationally, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy Ngozi Odu, and every elected member of the Rivers State House of Assembly were suspended for the first six months.
Retired Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas was appointed by Tinubu as the administrator to oversee state affairs as part of the emergency measures.
A governor is elected to office and can only be removed through impeachment, Falz responded on his 𝕏 handle, saying that no legislation permits a president to suspend a governor.

“Is Rivers State at war, too? Is the “real breakdown of public order” occurring? Does the federation face any threats to its existence?
