JUST IN: FRSC Officer Shot by ‘Police’ in Lagos

According to reports, a security guard dressed in police uniform shot an unnamed officer from the Federal Road Safety Corps’ (FRSC) Lagos State command, injuring him.
It was discovered that the incident happened during an enforcement operation against fake license plates, which was a component of a larger project started by the Lagos Sector Command’s FRSC.
As of the time this report was filed, Kehinde Hamzat, the Corps Commander in charge of overseeing the operation, reportedly did not offer any precise information regarding the occurrence.

He did, however, urge reporters to exercise patience while he looks into the details of this regrettable incident.
There has been no word from Lagos police authorities as of this time, and it is still unknown if the security officers involved had any affiliation with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
