Fayose Vows to Oppose Atiku’s 2027 Presidential Bid

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has been cautioned by former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose not to run for president in 2027 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP.

If Atiku dared to run on the PDP ticket, Fayose promised to work against him.

He revealed this information on Friday during an appearance on Channels TV’s Politics Today.
Additionally, Fayose stated that a Southerner cannot be elected president of Nigeria following the term of President Bola Tinubu.

“I’m telling you that I will work against Atiku if he comes again,” he stated. We need to take a lesson from this. Nigerians want to listen, decide, and come to an agreement.
