Family Seeks Public Support as Lagos Banker, 26, Goes Missing

On his way home from work, 26-year-old banker Osemudiamen Idemudia vanished inexplicably.
According to a statement from Osemudiamen’s father, Julius Idemudia, his son was last seen on Friday, May 9.
When Osemudiamen Idemudia, a 26-year-old banker from Lagos, mysteriously vanished on Friday, May 9, while on his way home from work, his family is devastated.
After closing his office in Ikota, Osemudiamen’s father, Julius Idemudia, told Punch Metro that his son, who worked in a bank’s Point-of-Sale (POS) unit, had gone to the CMS headquarters on Lagos Island for a meeting with a senior employee.
Osemudiamen traveled with a colleague, but Julius claims that when they arrived at CMS, they were told that the meeting had been rescheduled for Monday. The two men then parted ways, and Osemudiamen was never seen or heard from again.

They split up as soon as they arrived at CMS. Osemudiamen was supposed to take a bus to Iyana Ipaja as normal, and then another one to Igando. We started to worry, though, when it was becoming late and we hadn’t heard from him. After a day without communication, we sounded the alarm. We haven’t heard from him since. Anxiety weighs on our hearts. This is really out of character for him, and we are worried about his safety and wellbeing.
To further exacerbate the family’s worries about his safety, Julius said that his son’s disappearance is wholly out of character.
“The Igando Police Station has received a missing person report, and we are working to meet with the bank’s chief security officer to conduct additional investigation into his disappearance.”
Osemudiamen’s family is still asking the public for any helpful information that could lead to his location, and search efforts are still on.
