Wike Is Political Bulldozer, Fayose Cautions PDP Governors

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Governors’ Forum must exercise caution when dealing with Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, according to former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, who called him a bulldozer on Friday.
The PDP might not have a presidential candidate in 2027 if the governors are unable to come to an agreement with Wike, Fayose cautioned.
During his appearance on Politics Today on Channels TV, Fayose urged PDP governors and party leaders to heed Wike’s current warning.
The former governor said that in order to further the party’s goals, the governors and the party’s leadership should work with Wike to find common ground.
Let me quickly warn you that this Wike you are seeing is like a bulldozer, which you need to control or steer clear of,” he said. You should be aware that something is wrong when someone says, “I’ll be at your house at a certain time,” and he shows up.

“I’m warning now, I’ve said my own now,” according to the Wike quotes I saw earlier. Because you can’t build something on nothing, can we find a way to resolve this issue before trouble [erupts]?
“Where will it end? If the Supreme Court rules that Anyanwu is the National Secretary, then all other rulings are null and void from the beginning. If they wish to submit a nominee to INEC, who will do so? Is it the National Chairman or Anyanwu who are unable to function independently?
“To be honest, I haven’t seen Wike in a long time, but we need to proceed with caution. Even though you don’t have to believe me right now, you’ll remember what Fayose told you when it happened.
I told Nigerians, with all due respect to Buhari, that he would ruin the country in this way, and they all yelled at me to let him run the government, which he did and left you hurt. What are you saying?
According to Wike, if you choose to disregard the Supreme Court’s ruling, then so be it. However, I would like the governors to work with him to advance the party; if not, I would like to think that the PDP would not have a candidate. It becomes problematic when you give in to Wike’s pressure.
