PDP Crisis Beyond Repair, Wike Remains Untouchable – Atiku’s Camp Tells PDP Governors

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum has been criticized by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s coalition group for opposing the merger in order to remove President Bola Tinubu before of the 2027 election.
According to reports, the coalition claimed in a statement issued by Salihu Mohammed Lukman, its spokesperson, on Wednesday that the Allies’ administration could only be overthrown by a successful merger.

Congress of Progressives (APC) in 2027.
According to Lukman, the PDP governors were aware that the party’s dilemma could not be resolved and that Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), was working for President Tinubu to undermine the party.

According to him, the governors’ actions demonstrated that they were inspired to act as a force opposing the merger’s success.
The PDP had been out of power for over a decade, and Nigerians had been waiting for the party to get back up and give the strong opposition that Nigeria requires. Rather, the party entered suspended animation until the raging APC led by Tinubu found a willing party to lay it to rest.

The governors are aware that the PDP’s infection has no known remedy. They are merely putting up a show. Since it is obvious to all astute Nigerians that the ruling party has taken over the country’s soul, they are aware that the people cannot accept this PDP as an option.

In Asiwaju’s administration, Nyesom Wike is the untouchable super minister, not because of his excellent work in the FCT but rather because of his excellent work in preventing the PDP from fielding a presidential candidate to run against Tinubu in 2027.

However, that mandate has changed in recent weeks due to the expanding coalition. The new plan calls for reviving the PDP to oppose the coalition and field a candidate who would split the vote in 2027. “Whether intentionally or inadvertently, this PDP Governors’ Forum is engaging in Asiwaju’s spoiler game, and they expect Nigerians to take them seriously,” he said.

The coalition’s goal is to reconstruct Nigeria.
A former APC chieftain who served as the Coalition’s spokesperson stressed that Atiku’s proposed merger was necessary to restore Nigeria.

According to Lukman, investing in the PDP made little sense because some of its members are employed by the current administration.

In addition, he offered the PDP governors his fellowship for the sake of Nigeria.

“This collapse is demonstrated by the fact that the party’s NEC meeting has not been held in two years and that no Nigerian can be certain of who is actually in charge of the party,” he added. The party’s governors and other officials ought to be concerned about this.

Regretfully, the PDP governors have only shown us their egregious usurpation of the authority entrusted to the party’s organs. It’s incorrect. It is also a blatant example of how the PDP governors will only continue to undermine the nation’s democratic institutions if they are allowed to continue.

Since many of the leaders of so-called political parties like the PDP are actually Trojan horses for the APC and President Tinubu’s administration, all patriotic Nigerians who are dedicated to restoring Nigerian democracy should understand that the country’s problems go beyond a romantic affiliation with these parties.

“It is illogical to devote time and money to a party whose leaders are either APC government appointees or hidden supporters. If not, how can anyone defend the PDP’s and its leaders’ poor self-management, which is essentially setting them on a course to failure and political oblivion?

“The coalition’s primary goal is to restore Nigerian democracy, just to be clear. Coalition leaders are aware of this and, more significantly, are aware of all the difficulties that lie ahead. Restoring political talks as essential and essential to ensuring democracy’s existence is the key to overcoming these obstacles and regaining Nigerians’ trust. Throughout the years, the PDP and APC have shown disdain for political talks and, consequently, have disregarded agreements in a number of ways.

The degree to which political actors attempt to change this unpleasant reality will determine Nigeria’s survival and the future of democracy. This is what coalition leaders have been diligently pursuing. In order to reveal the coalition, its structure, and its plan of action for saving Nigeria, the coalition is putting a lot of effort into concluding negotiations.

As a necessary and maybe the most effective response to restoring Nigerian democracy, it is expected that all political actors, including PDP leaders, will acknowledge the threat facing the nation and join the alliance. It hasn’t happened. We invite all political actors in the nation to join us in rescuing Nigerian democracy, despite the objections of the PDP governors and some of its leaders to joining the coalition.
