Tinubu Tells Wike: Concentrate on Delivering, Not Critics

The Federal Capital Territory’s Minister, Nyesom Wike, has received advice from President Bola Tinubu to stay focused on his developmental goal and avoid getting sidetracked by detractors and “busybodies.”
At the launching of the renovated International Conference Centre in Abuja, which has since been renamed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in his honor, Tinubu gave the charge on Tuesday.
“I am glad, Nyesom Wike, you are reflecting that,” the President reportedly remarked in his counsel to Wike. Remain focused on your excellent work and ignore the opinions of the busybodies and onlookers. As a leader, you are transformational. You are determined, visionary, and foresighted enough to achieve.
Recently back in Abuja after a two-week vacation in Lagos, President Tinubu said the renovated center symbolizes his administration’s renewed dedication to providing high-quality services and transforming the country.

“This is a part of our resolute attempts to alter our routines in order to better represent ourselves as individuals of high caliber, moral character, tenacity, and high spirits. He said, “That’s what we are.”
The president claimed that his administration understood that economic development still depends on modern infrastructure.
“We are committed to revitalizing this nation’s infrastructure and other vital sectors, such as transportation, healthcare, education, energy, and urban development, through the Renewed Hope Agenda,” he stated.
“Because we are aware that a strong economy in a pluralistic and forward-thinking society depends on its modern infrastructure.”
Nigeria’s dedication to “regional diplomacy, continental trade discussions, global partnerships, and many more thoughtful, well-outlined goals that reflect our Nigerian first” is reflected in the renovated conference center, according to Tinubu.
A number of dignitaries, including Attorney-General Lateef Fagbemi, Finance Minister Wale Edun, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and other high-ranking government officials, attended the occasion.
