Tragedy in Nsukka: Woman Murdered in Hotel by Alleged Lover

In Nsukka, Enugu State, a hotel on Ibagwa Road has been the scene of a suspected ritual murder.

The Madoka Hotel, situated at Obukpa Layout, on Ibagwa Road in the University of Nigeria town of Nsukka, was the scene of the event over the weekend.

The woman checked in with a young man the day before, according to a source, and had no idea that it was the last day of her life.

According to social media rumors that went viral, the young man stayed with a woman. However, when he emerged alone in the morning, hotel staff inquired about his female companion.

He informed them that the woman had departed earlier and that she is a prostitute, the source claims.

Since the receptionists were recently hired, they acted ignorantly and didn’t realize he was lying.

However, he added that the cleaners “shockingly discovered that the lady had been murdered” when they entered the room a few minutes later.

After killing her and removing important body parts, the now-fugitive killer laid the mattress on top of her body and covered it with a bed spread.

To make matters worse, he said, it was found that the male guest’s phone number provided at check-in was a bogus one.

When contacted, SP Daniel Ndukwe, the spokesperson for the Enugu State Police Command, characterized the ritual claims as false.

Although there was a murder case, according to Ndukwe, the claims of a disfigured body were false.

“There was never anything like that on her, like mutilation or body parts missing, not at all,” he said.

She was obviously murdered, but the allegations of ritual and the sale of body parts are completely untrue.

“Everything is in its original form; we suspect murder, but it is clearly not the same as ritual mutilation and all that.”
