Nigerian brand influencer cum. Monalisa Stephen, a Nollywood actress, died after a brief illness.
According to reports, Seun Oloketuyi, Chief Executive Officer of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, announced the demise in an Instagram post on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
According to Oloketuyi, the plus-sized actress died on Tuesday, May 13, due to low blood sugar and internal hemorrhage.
He further stated that the deceased actress’ sister had confirmed her death.
He wrote, “Brand influencer Monalisa Ayobami Stephen died yesterday in Lagos after battling low blood sugar and intestinal hemorrhage. Her younger sister confirmed the demise of this industrious and wonderful soul.
