Capt. Chris Najomo has been nominated by the Federal Government to serve as the substantive Director-General Civil Aviation (DGCA).
Our correspondent was informed on Friday by a source close to the National Assembly that Najomo’s name was forwarded to the Senate for verification and screening over the week.

Since December 13, 2023, Najomo has served in an acting role at the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), having been nominated by President Bola Tinubu.
