Suspected cultists attacked the Swali community in Yenagoa, Bayelsa, on Easter Sunday, killing four confirmed victims.
According to reports, the attack harmed a number of community members.
On Tuesday, a local who asked to remain anonymous informed reporters that the attackers were wearing masks.
According to the resident, the attackers entered in a Toyota Hilux van at midnight with AK-47 rifles and opened fire on residents randomly in the spirit of Easter.
It was claimed that the Greenlanders and Bobos, two opposing cult organizations, were fighting for supremacy over control of a market’s earnings.
