Nollywood actor RMD claims that Legend Title Is A scam

Richard Mofe-Damijo, often known as RMD, is a veteran Nollywood actor who has stated that he dislikes the term “legend.”
According to reports, the renowned actor said this during an interview on YouTube called “Curiosity Made Me Ask,” which was presented by Nigerian comedian Bea U.
RMD claims that he does not accept the legend designation because he believes it to be a fraud, emphasizing that it implies he is nearing retirement and past his best.

The actor stated that he does not yet recognize himself in that category and that performers like Olu Jacobs and Pete Edochie truly deserve the title of legend.
“I think all those legend things are a scam,” he added. Uncle Olu Jacobs and Uncle Peter are two of my stories; they are our forebears and our myths. When he claimed that Ribena children are healthy, I was still observing him.
I don’t agree with that; I believe that calling me a legend is a ruse to push me into that retirement-oriented neighborhood, when I should be approaching retirement. I don’t subscribe to it, therefore no.
