The Nigerian Afrobeat musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has revealed that he and his wife, Chioma, will tie the knot in a white wedding this year.
Ten months have passed since the couple’s star-studded traditional wedding ceremony at Eko Hotels in Lagos State, according to reports.
In his most recent interview with Breakfast Club, Davido disclosed that their much awaited white wedding will take place in Miami in August 2025.

“I’m having my white wedding in Miami in August of this year,” he stated.
“Our traditional marriage shut down Nigeria because, in addition to losing our child, a lot of things happened because our relationship was in the public eye.”
In related news, Davido revealed that 50 Cent, an American rapper, once refused to take a photo with him.
He said that the incident happened while he was a teenager and that he met 50 Cent in Las Vegas while his family was there to celebrate his older brother’s birthday.
However, he said that the head of the G-Unit flagrantly disregarded his request for a photo.
In a recent episode of The Breakfast Club, Davido claimed that years after he had achieved fame as a musician, he brought up the event with 50 Cent.
