Following a widely reported confrontation with her coworker Laide Bakare, Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has spoken out.
The movie stars reportedly got into a brawl during Sunday’s premiere of Eniola Ajao’s Owanbe Thieves.
Bakare claimed that Badmus gave the actress-turned-politician a breakthrough role, which catapulted her to fame, and threatened to deal with Badmus for calling her an “animal.”
For the first time since the event, Eniola Badmus urged industry participants to stand together.
She advised her coworkers to avoid jealousy and pointed out that conflict isn’t the solution.

The actress emphasized that since “we can all succeed,” there was no reason to be envious.
On Tuesday, she posted on Instagram:
“Life has a way of showing us that unity, not conflict, is where true power is found. Even though our paths may have diverged and we may have experienced conflict, I think it’s time to allow love take the lead.
When we can all achieve, jealousy is unnecessary. My achievement does not take away from yours, and yours does not take away from mine. Let’s keep working together, supporting one another, and creating something bigger than we could ever do on our own. Unity is strong, and the future is more promising than any triumph we’ve achieved on our own.
We should steer clear of fighting because we are sensible, not weak. Love is the light that guides us, and peace is the way forward.
